Since 1962 Lincolnwood has a long standing tradition of great student-athletes and great coaches.
Lincolnwood athletic teams are traditionally competetive in all sports across the board.
Currently Lincolwood is a member of the Montgomery-Sangamon-Macoupin (MSM) Conference
Lincolnwood has won a total of 1 state championship, 1 super-sectional, 10 sectionals, and 43 regionals/Districs.
Below is a breakdown of Lincolnwood championships for each sport.
- Baseball - 8 Regionals, 3 Sectionals, 1 Super-Sectional, 3 State appearances, and 1 State Championship
- Basketball - 8 Regionals, 1 Sectional, 1 Super-Sectional, and 1 State appearance resulting in a 3rd place finish
- Boys Golf - 3 Regionals, 2 Sectionals, 5 State appearances
- Boys Soccer - 1 Regional title
- Girls Golf - no playoff trophies yet
- Softball - 6 Regionals
- Volleyball - 17 Regionals/Districts, 4 Sectionals, 1 Super-Sectional and 1 State appearance

- Tate Snyder - Leading Scorer for Lincolnwood Basketball
- Shane Convery - 2009 1A State Golf Championship
- Josh Glick - 2009 1A State Baseball Player of the Year
- Abby Brockmeyer - Leading Scorer for Lincolnwood Girls Basketball - played at Litchfield. Played College Basketball at SIUC
- Rusty Bergman - Went on to play basketball at LSU, roomed with Pete Maravich (Pistol Pete), and coached Coastal Carolina to the NCAA tournament in 1991 and 1993.
- Kendall Snyder - played minor baseball for the Minnesota Twins organization
- Karly Bruntjen - 1000+ career digs and kills for Lincolnwood Volleyball
